Metal hose assemblies have longer product life and their applications include petroleum industry, chemical plants, steel plants, power generation industry, and also in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Plastic: Polytetrafluoroethylene or PTFE is also widely use in the construction of industrial hose assemblies which include PTFE hose liner and stainless steel fittings. They are mostly used in sanitary manufacturing process and also ensure clean processing. As PTFE based industrial hose assemblies are designed specifically for easy cleaning and draining, they do not impart any odor to the media being processed. PTFE hose assemblies are also ideal for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries as they prevent entry or growth of bacteria that can lead to contamination.
